Crispy Chicken

I am sun burnt. So much to the fact that I am covered in a huge swarm of blisters which is in no way appealing. Actually, it makes me want to shoot myself every single time I look in the mirror and see them. Even worse that anything touching said blisters hurts, so I'm stuck showing them off whenever I go out to keep myself comfortable. At least, as comfortable as possible considering the throbbing pain that occurs from doing everyday tasks such as getting a bowl out of the cupboard.

Sitting here. Listening to Cher. Not sure what about her makes me just get random cravings to listen to her music, but nonetheless, I am here and listening. She's a classic, though my uncle said that only lesbians listened to her. Obviously, I am either not aware of my sexual orientation as well as I thought (since I'm more than definite I am, have been, and always will be straight), or he's just seriously deranged. He is, after all, from my family, so deranged is probably the best option.

Ended up buying the newest Mac that came out a day or for before I went shopping for a computer. It's a laptop, which is nice. Though, now I'm on the computer more constantly and every friend that comes over feels the need to check every single account they've ever had in the history of their lives because "it's there." Whatever.

Mom's been arranging the house...that is to say that she's bought so much furniture we have to basically redo every room to somehow make room for the various couches, chairs, tables she buys on a whim. We may have a rather large house compared to some, but it's quite small considering the amount of furniture that gets shoved in here. We even got this lovely sectional for the living room, which is where I sleep on the leather couch. Leather couch is currently in some kind of purgatory and halfway into the living room and the other half lies in the wet bar. I sleep in two rooms at once! The section is much too "nice" to sleep on. Like, seriously. I have no other place to sleep considering I got rid of my bed in the assumption that the remodels to my room would EVER get done relatively soon.

Lets just say that they are no where near being finished. There is actually so many new renovations she's doing to the house that I'm shocked the workers even know where to go they're so swarmed with new projects.

Pretty bored, actually. Was going to finish playing Resident Evil 5, but I'm not sure I can survive me jumping around screaming. Probably wake up my mother and grandmother, asking what the hell happened like someone had broke in. Nope, just the typical zombie outbreak. Large Tyrant coming at me. You know, the usual things that make you scream in the middle of the night. Video games. Awesome invention. Scarier than anything I've ever come across. Pretty sure a horror game could out scare a horror movie, if only because you're more active in the game.

Speaking of horror games, I kinda feel the urge to play Harvest Moon. I know. Those cows are FEROCIOUS. Blood sucking scoundrels, really! And don't even get me started on the sheep!

The Ultimate Question

In the time since I last posted here, my computer has gone into the shop for a virus.  Well, actually,  in reality it was probably spy-ware and several worms which have plagued my life for the past half a year.  This is, however, the second time this month that I've had to take my computer in and pay $70 for them to tell me they got it off, which they haven't.

Supposedly, I have viruses so deeply rooted in my system that they cannot be removed easily.  Using system restore, where they are located, sets them off and I am stuck having my computer crash on me a million times and then proceed to sputter and die when I try to turn it on again.  Now, at the time that this got bad (again), my monitor decided I've had it for too long and wanted to share the spotlight, so it also is dying on me.  Which isn't as annoying, for a monitor is a quick trip to the store and picking one out then just connected perhaps two cords at most.

But, alas, I am giving up trying to get my computer in working order again.  A friend said he'd come by to try to fix it, but I don't like people I don't know getting on my computer, let alone someone who can use various items in there as blackmail.  Computer shopping is perhaps the most frustrating and insufferable time of my very short life.  Very short in the fact that I shoot myself in the face if I have to continue wondering the one question that plagues me: Mac or PC?

Considering I am prone to viruses due to the fact that, well, I forget a time that I've had my computer and it hasn't had viruses since it's been so long.  That is, of course, my fault for being unable to download a virus scanner in the amount of time it takes for them to crawl into my system and burrow until the most inopportune time.  Anyways, considering I am prone to them, one might think that perhaps mac would be a safer option.  Though, as time goes on there will be viruses that will be created for the mac and I'm up a creak without a paddle once again.

I don't play games much, though I'd love to have something to play The Sims on, so then the mac is not better.  I've gone without The Sims for quite a while, so perhaps I can live without it forever.  Or, at least, until I shell out more money to buy another computer just for games, which I used to have before.

Money is an issue, for I will be paying for all or at least part on my own.  I have money, of course, but all of it currently is going towards my plastic surgery.  With the price of macs, though, it won't delay me back much in that issue.  If it's a good investment I would gladly give out the money to get it, as long as I'm not in the shop every other week bitching about how my life is crap.

Obviously, my computer knowledge involves searching the internet and writing, for it's all I'm concerned with.  I don't need fancy things as long as my tablet, camera, printer/scanner, and iTouch can be connected and work.  Actually, I already checked and my tablet is compatible with both operating systems, so that's also not an issue...

As I sit here swearing at the various sites that just won't tell me which is better, I shudder at the thought of having to go into a store and ask them for their opinions on what I should get.  This is almost as horrific as trying to decided between the PS3 and XBox360.

I am very bad with change and decision making, so I like people just telling me what to do and then me spending forever going on over in my head again and again how it will be the biggest mistake of my life to listen.  I then just say it doesn't matter, listen to their opinion and, most of the time, am more in love with it than what I usually have to deal with.

Sigh.

Well, on a brighter note, so far my rhinoplasty is scheduled for June 17th.  The doctor said I had a deviated septum and that's why I can't breathe correctly out of my right nostril.  My nose is actually 30 to 50 percent larger than a female nose is.  So, I'm like a female walking around with a man's nose.  A huge, ugly, man's nose.

Woe is me.

Down the Rabbit Hole...

While sitting here wondering what I'm ever going to use livejournal for, three baby spiders have crawled across my desk.  This occurrence makes sense, considering the various cobwebs that hang from my ceilings.  Nonetheless, I am thoroughly disgusted.  Thankfully, not near as disgusted as I was last night while watching The Devil's Rejects, which even I couldn't handle (not that I can handle much when it comes to gore).

However, I will give Rob Zombie some props for the movie, for I was quite found of Sheri Moon Zombie's character.  Despite her being a homicidal crazed woman (what I wish to put here starts with a B and has an itch), she was also slutty and possibly indulging in incest.  She also was very well trained in throwing knives and shooting a gun, which was empowering in an odd way.

I am currently indulging in wonderful horror movies from Asian countries.  Despite what may seem like bad acting, the movies never stop making me scream / laugh / want to tear my head off.  Such as Sick Nurses, which had a so-so plot.  Keeping true to Asian horror movies, it involved a woman looking for revenge after her death.  The best part was when one of the nurses got her jaw cut off and her cat ate her tongue.  There was also a bit with lesbian twin lovers (Yeah, really), where one sister cut up the other one because her hand was being commanded by the vengeful ghost.

The ending was unexpected.  Not to a large extent, but I was too busy trying to figure out why everyone was such a whore in the movie that it wasn't as obvious.

Red Shoes, another horror movie, was enjoyable too.  It got intense quickly, where a young lady gets her ankles cut off while wearing a pair of red shoes she took from another girl.  It then follows a mother and her child, where the mother is a shoe collector and her husband is having an affair so she leaves him.  Blah, blah, blah.  Basically, in the movie I just wanted the mother to die, but it was enjoyable, despite slightly slow at parts.  The child is selfish, but what can really be expected when your mother is a psycho?

If it's not obvious, I probably should spend less time watching movies than I do.  It's an addiction when you get started, because there are millions of movies that I want to see still.  The main problem is when I get on youtube, because I always check out the Asian horror film trailers and then have to watch the actual movie.  In this time, I've gotten well trained in reading subtitles while still seeing the picture.

Other than movies, tomorrow I have an orthodontist appointment to see when I can get my braces off.  Then, Tuesday, I have a consultation with a plastic surgeon about my rhinoplasty.  Hopefully that will get done before school starts in August, but I'm not too concerned, for as long as it's done I'm happy.

June 22 is when creative writing camp starts.  Thankfully, I got a friend to go with me this year so I'm not alone.  I still must plan horse back riding and a picnic in between New York, Florida, and my friend from Texas coming up to visit.

Oh goodness.
